Research Interests
Theoretical/Computational Chemistry.
Mechanistic understanding of small molecule (O2, CH4, CO2, H2O) activation reactions catalyzed by transition metal complexes. Manifestations of spin states.
Excited states of organic chromophores.
Application of multi-reference ab initio methods such as CASSCF and CAS-MP2. Molecular excited states, nonadiabatic reaction mechanisms, curve crossings, near degeneracies.
